The forward thinking ideas and new understandings expressed in this exhibit have been greatly influenced by many factors including:
(please click on the BLUE words below for more information)

David Shenk's literary portrait of Alzheimer’s disease:

 =>  The Forgetting

Bob DeMarco's blog and website:
=>  the

Two extremely innovative organizations who continue to transform the way we look & deal with Alzheimer's:
=>  the  Cure Alzheimer's Fund

 =>  the I'm Still Here Foundation

For her subject matter in the exhibit Maggie chose the music and lyrics by the band:
=>  Dr. Dog
"It was a natural choice for me to have their music represent certain fundamental understandings.
Dr. Dog is an anchor for me.
Their music reminds me that it really is all going to be ok,
that we are all connected and that there is a bigger picture.
Our job is to show up and participate,
to follow the trail,
to follow our dreams,
and for me, also to try to not be afraid so much of the time.
Ultimately, to dare to find beauty and meaning in whatever the current situation might be."
